Matthew Martines

Chief Executive Officer

Matthew Martines is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Virtus Capital Markets. Prior to founding Virtus, Matt was Head of Municipal Trading at Brownstone Investment Group, where he established a highly successful municipal trading desk. Prior to Brownstone, Matt was a senior executive at Morgan Stanley for over 15 years, serving as Head of Strategic Development and Head of Municipal Electronic Trading within their Capital Markets division. Matt graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a B.S. in Systems Engineering.
